Bergamil forte, 30 capsules, for low cholesterol
The preparation contains an extract of bergamot, a type of citrus, standardized to 32% of polyphenols, extract of garlic and vitamin C. The ingredients ensure normal levels of cholesterol, especially unwanted LDL cholesterol, and support blood circulation, especially in the capillaries. Scientific studies show that the polyphenols and citrus enzymes in bergamot act as natural statins (cholesterol-lowering drugs). Bergamot extract lowers total cholesterol and LDL levels, but has been shown to increase HDL levels. The scientists also recommend the consumption of bergamot products for diabetics, who are often overweight, hypertensive and suffering from liver diseases, as well as for smokers.
