Curcumin, frankincense, ginger extracts
The three herbal extracts from Asia have anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects on all complaints that are caused by inflammation in the body. They are particularly effective in treating joint and musculoskeletal problems and are an integral part of Ayurvedic medicine. Turmeric is classified as the “hot spice” in Ayurveda, which stimulates digestion and the release of digestive juices and bile. In India, because of its anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, turmeric is used in the treatment of rheumatic complaints, as well as osteoarthritis and chronic pain. The frankincense is obtained from the resin of the tree Boswellia serrata, which is native to arid regions of Arabia, Africa and India. It mainly contains boswellic acids, which have a strong anti-inflammatory effect and were used for rheumatism, intestinal inflammation, asthma and other chronic inflammations. Significant reductions in pain, stiffness, and poor grip have been observed in rheumatoid arthritis. The anti-inflammatory effect is also used for inflammation of the skin in neurodermatitis, psoriasis, atopic eczema and other types of inflammation. Frankincense is a side-effect-free alternative to cortisone, which is used for inflammation. The ginger is called "Vishwabhesaj" in India, as a "universal medicine". He increases the blood circulation, has a spasmolytic (antispasmodic) effect on digestion, has an aphrodisiac and stimulating effect. It has an anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect (e.g. also arthritis) and rheumatic diseases.
