Devil's claw gel with allantoin and castor oil
The devil's claw, a plant native to the savannas and Kalahari desert in southern western Africa, defies extreme drought by storing water in its storage roots. The dried roots are also the parts of the plant that contain the bitter iridoid glycosides including harpagosite, a phytosterol mixture containing phenylpropanoids, triterpenes and flavonoids.
