Elderberry lat. Sambucus nigra is rich in anthocyanins, which give the fruits dark color and have a very useful effect on the human body. They are powerful antioxidants and fight free radicals, sealing the walls of the capillary vessels, thereby reducing swelling and inflammation, inhibiting clumping of blood platelets and preventing blood clots. The elderberry fruits also have a detoxifying effect, since they facilitate the excretion of the metabolic products, promote sweating in a cold-beneficial, as well as laxative effect. Dosage:
fry a teaspoon (2g) of the fruits and leave for 15 minutes. It is recommended to drink 3 times a day (6g). The fruits can also be ground before brewing.
