The capsules contain 9 live lactic acid bacterial strains that normally colonize our intestines and ensure the balance of the microflora in the intestine, the microbiome. An intact intestinal flora keeps unwanted fungi (Candida) and bacteria in check and determines the ability of our immune system to fight viruses and bacteria. Taking antibiotics, painkillers, anti-inflammatories or gastric acid inhibitors destroys the intestinal flora. The capsules rebuild the microbiome. The added fructo-oligosaccharides are natural nutrients for the proliferation of lactic acid bacteria.
