Sorig Sangthel Nyernga
This Tibetan herbal blend in herbal pill form helps with upper respiratory tract infections such as bronchi, throat and lungs. The herbs fight bacteria and viruses, have an anti-inflammatory and expectorant effect. They also stimulate the immune system to deal better with pathogens and reduce fever. The processed copper used is used, among other things, to strengthen the lungs in Ayurveda. The herbs also have a diuretic effect and intensify the kidneys' excretion of the metabolic products formed during infection, thereby speeding up recovery.
Ingredients: processed copper, licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra), raisins, nutmeg, clove, hog plum (Spondias mombin), weaver bamboo, Chebulic myrobalans, Tinospora cordifolia (Giloy or Guduchi), pomegranate, amla (Emblica officinalis), safflower (Carthamus tinctorius) , cardamom, coriander
Directions: Take one herbal pill per dose half an hour before or after a meal with boiled lukewarm water/cow's milk or as directed by your doctor. The herbal pill should first be crushed (in a cloth with a small hammer) and then ground into a powder in a mortar. Depending on the intensity of the disease, up to 3 x 1 pill should be taken a day.
