Vata 100g, Ayurvedic loose tea
The Vata herbal mixture brings the mind and body into balance, especially after intense mental or physical work. The plant Ashwagandha used strengthens the nervous system, improves memory, increases vitality, stimulates digestion, blood circulation, breathing, and tissue regeneration. As a nerve tonic and sedative (sedative), it is also helpful for dizziness, anxiety, pain, stress and tremors. Ashwagandha balances emotions, has a calming effect and promotes deep sleep. This calming effect is enhanced by valerian, cinnamon, Indian basil (tulsi) and lemongrass. These herbs have an anti-stress and anxiety-reducing effect and ensure better physical and mental stamina and performance. The plants work against stress-related high blood pressure and support falling asleep. At the same time the herbs like ginger, licorice, cardamom, nutmeg, black pepper thin the blood and improve blood circulation, especially in the extremities. This prevents infections, promotes good digestion and increases the work of the kidneys to excrete metabolic products more intensively.
Composition: withania somnifera (Ashwagandha), valeriana officinalis (valerian), zingiber officinale (ginger), glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice), elettaria cardamomum, cinnamomum zeylanicum (cinnamon), terminalia chebula (Chebulian myrobalane), o mycristian myrobalane (Indian basil, tulsi), cymbopogon citratus (lemongrass), piper nigrum (black pepper)
VATA Dosha is responsible for movement in the human organism and is closely related to the nervous system. Its nature is mobility and its main seat in the body is below the navel in the area of the large intestine. Everything that moves in us is determined by VATA, including breathing, digestion, metabolism and thoughts. Vata exercises control over the other two doshas: Kapha and Pitta.
We can recognize and localize the VATA Dosha in the body through the properties cold, dry, rough, fine, fast, hard and cracked. When the VATA Dosha prevails, the skin is dry, hands and feet are often cold, the metabolism and the way of speaking are fast and the hair is fine. On the psychological level, VATA is determined by fine perception as well as rapid and erratic sequences of thoughts.
VATA is responsible for:
• Movements in the body cells and intestines
• growth
• Regulation of the activity of the mind and all sense organs
• Control of the other two doshas
The VATA type of person is enthusiastic, thirsty for knowledge, loves to travel and has an aversion to cold, windy weather. The desire to change something, to go unexplored ways and to give life a new meaning comes from the active and positive VATA power.
However, if this VATA energy is negative, then dissatisfaction, hopelessness and lack of courage stand in the way of a new beginning. People are dissatisfied with their situation in life and cannot find a way to introduce the new.
If the VATA share is too high, one is always on the lookout, easily losing sight of the goal and often cannot decide which path is the best. You start everything with great euphoria, but after a short time interest fades and you start to get bored.
The characteristic of the VATA type is "changeable". VATA leads the other doshas. Whenever a dosha is out of whack, VATA is the first and causes the early stages of disease. It can fool the other doshas into believing that PITTA or KAPHA are creating the problem. VATA is the king of the doshas; if it is in equilibrium, it is usually PITTA and KAPHA as well. VATA is the basis for the feeling of balance, therefore the balance of this dosha is vital.
